75% and Counting!

BRETT PASSED AUDIT!!!!!!!

He is 3/4 of the way done with these monster CPA exams. I am so very proud of him for working so hard!!! He has been a studying machine.. and it sure payed off!! YAY BRETTERS MARIE!

Brett took the 4th (and final) exam yesterday... those results won't be in for probably over a month but we will be anxiously awaiting them in the Carusi household..

This weekend we are taking the dog and going to my beach house in OBX. It will be a great way to relax and spend some time together. I feel like I have barely seen my fiance! (all for good reason though!)

T-Minus 135. wow.it.is.getting.so.close. WOOOOOT!

Mrs. Photographer...I Think We're Ready for our Close Up!!!

Brett and I have found THE ONE wedding photographer we have been dreaming about!!!!! Her name is Patricia Suzanne and she is based out of Raleigh. She comes to us very highly recommended from friends of ours, Lauren and Wyatt Jenkins, who used Patty as their photographer for their wedding. Every time I look at Patty's blog and website, I drool over how gorgeous these brides look in every single one of their wedding day pictures. I feel as if I was at each and every wedding due to the amazing job Patty does in capturing the unforgettable moments. I am confident that someone will be saying all of these things about our day because I know Patty's pictures are going to tell our great love story.

Joanne's the Greatest!

This past weekend my mom threw B and I an engagement party for in-town friends!! It was so much fun!! Brett proposed 1 year ago, (May 2) so she thought it would be the perfect time to celebrate before the fast approaching wedding. (157 days to go!!!)

Gram Jo and Poppy came down from NJ for the party.. and will soon be close all the time.. that is another post. :)

So many of our friends came out to celebrate. I wish I took pictures, but I only have ones from before the guests arrived. sad. Kell and Ash sis were getting ready together so we had plenty of time to take great pics. Thank you to everyone who came!! Brett and I loved every minute of it and are so fortunate to have such loving and wonderful friends.

Lindsey came to visit and so did Carrie. It was so great to reunite and reminisce about life at ECU. Oh (sigh) how I still think we will all be going back to school from this "break" we're on.

A Little Obsession

Well, as many of you know, I have a thing for tanning. I love being tan, I love how I feel when I am tan and I love the feeling after leaving the tanning salon, knowing that instant gratification is setting in. In recent years I have stopped bed tanning (thank god for a sunless tan). gosh! It is so bad for you!! Yes, this I know coming from the girl who lives in the Outer Banks during the summer and spends almost every hour of sunlight outside. The versa spa has saved my tanning life. It is the best sunless tan ever!!! I went this past weekend with Kell and bought a new package. Here's to consistently being tan until the wedding (and the rest of my life)!!! haha
